Ride the rails into the dark country side to hear the story of the cemetery on the property and what happens when you dig it up. After your horrifying trolley ride, walk through the haunted cemetery and terrifying Trolley Hall. Can your heart take it, come and ride and see what everyone is talking about? This experience is rated PG-13 and may be too intense for the squeamish.

When the Hartford and Springfield Street Railway built a branchline from Warehouse Point to Rockville in 1905, a small cemetery near Newberry Road stood in the way of a straight-as-an-arrow trolley line. The cemetery was relocated to a spot of dry land along Route 140 near the tracks. The air around the cemetery always had a chill after the move and the locals kept away, letting Mother Nature take over.

Years later as the trolley museum began planning for the Visitor Center, workers began surveying the land and found the gravestones from the old cemetery hidden in the woods. Oddly enough, further inspection found that there were only headstones... no coffins or remains were in the earth.

Today, during the darkest of the nights, the mournful cries of the abandoned dead are heard around old Newberry Road and the trolley museum's Newberry Siding. Do you dare ride to the darkside? Email Haunt Owner
For families and those looking for an enjoyable PG event, the museum is also holding its popular Pumpkin Patch event. Pumpkin Patch is a family fun filled adventure where you ride on a trolley car out to the pumpkin patch and each child can pick out a FREE pumpkin.

Additionally, when you return back to the Museum you can decorate the pumpkins, get your face painted, enjoy the outside play area and the entire museum. Don't forget you can take as many Trolley rides as you would like.

Every part of this attraction was so scary! We had a great time. Definitely not for small kids, but a great time for adults! Go early to avoid a long line.

  • This place takes it way to far.

Last year the lady sitting next to me pissed her pants. For15 bucks I got a whole lot more scare than 6 flags. DOD NOT BRING LITTLE KIDS these people aren't happy unless you get really scared, upto threatening you with a live cattle-prod. Totally worth it if you think youve see everything.

  • Do it before Halloween is over!!

Took a chance and drove an hr. to get there. Beats anything in the Western Ma. area that we've been to. When you think it's over the scares keep coming at you. You must add this one to your list of places to see before Halloween is over!! Soooo twisted....JUST GO!! 01057
