The Strong Family Farm provides a historic agricultural education center where individuals, families and community groups experience an authentic family farm environment.
Harvest Festival:
Strong Family Farm celebrates the 6th annual Harvest Festival in October. The fair will include lots of activities - an apple pie baking contest, old fashioned demonstrations on cider pressing, canning, weaving and bee keeping, announcement of results of the farm's annual scarecrow contest, apple and pumpkin sales, hay bale maze, crafts, old fashioned games, pumpkin checkers, animals, tractors, vendors, and a farewell to the farm's chickens going to their winter home.
Scarecrow Contest:
Have you seen the scarecrows along the farm fence on Petersen Road? Join us in our Scarecrow Contest in September!
