  The actors and staff at Nightmare are all extremely talented and dedicated to their craft. From the moment you walk in the door and out of the exit anxiety becomes a familiar companion as you are jumped from all sides. The overall ambience of the Haunted House sets the tone for the unerving and other worldy noises that echo off of the walls of the attraction. I greatly recommend any Horror or Haunted House fans to check out Nightmare on Wolcott Street.

  Great Haunt

  Went friday with friends that said nuttin scares them, they were first ones screaming!! We all went back sat. with more ppl and still scared the sh*t out of all of us.. If haven't been a must see!!!

  Lots of rooms to explore

  It was an awesome night for us!!! We were a group of 5 and everyone loved the scares. There were lots of rooms to explore, and scares came from all sides. I am so glad that I jumped and screamed a good number of times. We’ll 100% be back.

  Actors were great...

  Couldn't be happier with the experience. There was enough blood and gore to freak you out. Special effects were impressive, so were some of the props. Even after a week, I can’t take the skeleton character out of my head. Actors’ performance in general was decent.

  Will visit again

  Visited with my BF. It was super scary from start to finish. This indoor haunt had lots of rooms, wherein each one was designed with a separate theme and set of scares. The clowns and jokers scared the crap out of us. Reasonably priced. We will visit again.

  I and daughters had a great time in Nightmare on Walcott Street. The lines were short. We waited for just 10 minutes to get inside. The 55 rooms of the house was freaky awesome. Set design and attention to details were impressive. The kids screamed few times. Actors were spot-on and they stayed in character all the time.

  Hands down to the best....

  Hands down the best attraction we have been to this year. Scares came at regular intervals and few of them really startled me off my feet. The price is competitive and the line is worth the wait. Very realistic displays and actors.

  Email Verified Custom, Handcrafted Haunted House Full of Movie Props

  Nightmare on Wolcott Street is a winding labyrinth of 55 rooms lined with salvaged movie props. Expect every genre of horror: Killer clowns. Vampires. A Chainsaw wielding maniac. There easily could be 1000 set pieces wired and set up to scare. Humble beginnings, this scare show was set up 5 years ago by the owner of the clrestoration shop it's connected to. There they custom fabricate parts for cars that no longer exist. As we stepped up to take a photo next to the twin 2-story Virgin Mary's, featured in Whoopie Goldverg's Sister Act, one of his mechanics was kind enough to share with us a half-million dollar, mauve restoration from France the owner had purchased and was working to restore to sell at an auction. Many of their cars serve in the scenes of Hollywood films. As you can imagine, many of these mechanics have worked on setting up the haunted house, whether installing new pieces into old mechanical animatronic Frankensteins, or welding steel and mirror to create fun house mazes. As a result the haunted house is custom, unlike any other, and an art piece in its own respect. #2 Haunted House of the year, as we seek to visit 13 haunted houses in the Northeast during this Halloween season.   This is a hidden gem. Never heard about this place before. So thought of giving it a try. The lines were not long. The haunt is of the right length, and scare factor was above par. Use of space was good and there was not a single dull moment I could think of. Actors’ costumes looked real. Their performance was also professional throughout. Staff was helpful too. Recommend this place.

  Recommend to all scare seekers

  There were lots of twists and turns.. scares kept coming from all sides.. often they would jump out from hidden spots totally catching you off-guard. My husband does not scared easily.. but even he was jumped at least thrice.. the rates were reasonable and the whole thing was lots of fun. I would recommend this place to scare seekers in the state.

  Scary...multiple thematic rooms

  Amazing haunt house. Very short wait time in the queue and scary ambience inside the house. Multiple thematic rooms accompanied by phenomenal special effects. Impressed by actor’s skills and costume. Friendly staff. Not for one who gets panic easily
