What's new at Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball for 2025? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

We are adding a lot of new and improved decorations including our "Dracula's Mansion" photo lounge, giving guests the perfect place to take their spookiest halloween pictures! We are also going to be adding to our dinner selection, giving guests more delightful options to choose from!

What are you most excited about for the 2025 Halloween Season?

We are interested in seeing the people who attended last years event hopefully return this year, indicating they had a fantastic time at our first annual Dracula Ball and couldn't get enough. As well as seeing new people attend and hopefully be able to give them an incredible evening.

What differentiates Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball from other local haunts in Connecticut?

We wanted to create something different. Something unique. We wanted to create an event that people genuinely look forward to attending every year. In order to do that we found the perfect venue that gives off rich victorian vibes, and amp it up with gothic decor. We provide a delightful dinner for our guests, as well as including 2 free alcoholic beverages with every ticket purchase. We provide quality entertainment throughout the evening to ensure guests are having the best time possible. The people our our main priority and we hope to please to the fullest. How long has Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball's history?

We debuted with our first event last year in October 2024. After seeing how much people enjoyed the night, we decided to turn this spectacle into an annual event and look forward to creating many more memories in the years to follow.

What's your favorite experience since opening Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball?

There is a lot of hard work and time allowed that goes on behind the scenes to make this single evening possible. My favorite experience since opening last year for the first time was gathering honest feedback from people who attended. I want to know how we can improve the event, what people liked and what they disliked. So far I have gathered nothing but amazing feedback from people. But even still that does not mean there is no room for improvement. We are going to take things to a whole new level this year, and I myself am super exited to see peoples reactions for this years event.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball from start to finish?

The event lasts for 4 hours. It starts at 8pm and goes until midnight.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball is? Why?

It's not scary, our goal is not to terrorize attendees. However there event is filled with props, decorations, and of course costumes! On a scale from 1-10 I would say it's probably a 5 or 6.

Does Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

The venue was built in the year 1916. There have been many claims about the property being haunted, however no specific claims or paranormal investigations have been recorded. My grandmother has been heavily involved with the property for as long as I can remember, I'm sure she definitely has a spooky story or two!

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

We wanted to create an event that the community is proud to host, and one that attendees genuinely look forward to every year. I have been a life long lover of the Halloween season and wanted to curate something truly special for people to enjoy. Seeing the people who have attend the event smiling, dancing, and having a magical evening was all the satisfaction I could possibly ask for. There are so many different types of events out there. This one is for the spooky lovers. This event is dedicated to the darkly sophisticated. I hope you end up loving it as much as I do.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball?

The venue itself (undecorated) already has a very victorian/gothic appeal to it. Upon decorating the venue, it looks like something straight out of a movie. We hand craft many of our own decorations as well as using various lights, fog, and other decorations. The vibe generated is critical, and we aim to exceed expectations with our ambience.

Can Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball together as a group?

Yes! The venue has a capacity of 300 people so bring your friends and family and have an incredible time together! We will make an announcement if tickets are getting low so people can plan accordingly.

Does Moonlight Masquerade Dracula Ball offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We are not currently offering any special discounts at the moment.
