Fairfield State Hospital
Newtown, CT 6470
This hospital opened its doors in 1931 and was the residence to criminally insane patients. It is made up of 16 buildings that are connected by underground tunnels. It is rumored to be haunted because of its tragic history of patient abuse and questionable deaths. The hospital closed in 1995 and was used as the setting for the film Sleepers and MTV's Fear. No trespassing is allowed on the property.

The last time I went here I went with a group of my friends and my friend started to feel a major pain on her back after hearing small laughter and weird sounds we heard doors slamming when we got out her back had 5 long scratches that were about 1 inch wide by 6 to 8 inches long I do not recommended going here what so ever extreme paranormal activity
