This location was once called the Norwich State Hospital for the Insane and was built in 1904 atop of an old Native-American village. Many deaths occurred at the hospital and it was also the location to a number of beatings, starvation of patients and prolonged confinement in cells. It closed its doors in 1996 and witnesses believe the site is haunted. Ghostly apparitions have been seen, eerie feelings have been felt, mists, orbs and EVPs. The location was featured on TV's Ghost Hunters.
